Effective Opinion – Not Everthing is a Blog.

Please stop calling websites - ”Blogs” …What am I talking about?

     It seems every site that puts up anything that looks like content and not necessarily owned by a major media outlet is, by todays standards, blogging.  I am of the opinion that if there is more than one person authoring blog – I am very much my opinion  that if you are paying anybody to author your blog… that it should be referred to as a WEB-SITE and not as a BLOG.  Commercial sites can have many many content writers workign for them… such as Boing Boing and Slashdot as well many social networking sites.  These are not blogs in my opinion, rather they are websites and we shoudl refer to them as such.  NO?

Just because you read articles with Firefox or Internet Explorer and your didnt see it or read it on a TV infomercial,  does not make it a blog…

 A blog is  a mechanism of PERSONAL opinion for you as an individual….  everything else is a website.  My opinion.
